Biochemical signature of B-cell anergy is a reversible event. Cells from 6 different anergic samples were cultured for 48 hours. ERK1/2 phosphorylation (A), NF-ATc1 nuclear translocation (B), and IgM expression levels (C) were analyzed both immediately after purification and after 48 hours of cell culture.
