Disease-free survival (DFS) for acute leukemia in complete response (CR) single versus double umbilical cord blood transplantation (UCBT).

The probability of one-year survival without leukemia recurrence was 62% for recipients of two HLA-mismatched UCB, and 52% for recipients of one UCB unit. All patients received full myeloablative conditioning incorporating cyclophosphamide 60 mg/kg and total body irradiation 1320 cGy.³⁰
