Expression levels of VEGF₁₆₅, SEMA3A, NRP1, and plexin-A1 genes in the EC types, as evaluated by real-time RT-PCR. Data are shown as fold expression of the lowest transcribed value. The absolute values (as ng/μL) of VEGF₁₆₅, NRP1, and plexin-A1 in HUVECs were as follows: 380 ± 55, 540 ± 75, and 420 ± 58, respectively; the absolute value of SEMA3A in MMECs was 213 ± 46.
