Genetic inactivation of the p85 regulatory subunits of class I_A PI-3K decreases fetal liver cellularity in day-13.5 embryos. Individual embryos were isolated, fetal livers were harvested, and single-cell suspensions were prepared. Total liver cellularity was enumerated in 15 embryos/genotype. ^*P < .001; ^**P < .005.
