Effect of inhibition of fibrinogen binding with RGDW on potency of hit compounds. Washed platelets from healthy volunteers (3 × 10⁸/mL) were treated or not, with RGDW (150 μM) for 20 minutes at room temperature and then transferred to an aggregometer cuvette containing the indicated dose of degrasyn (top) or milrinone (bottom), and a mixture of human α-thrombin (0.2 U/mL final concentration) and CaCl₂ (1 mM final concentration) to initiate CR. Images were taken 60 minutes after of initiation of CR.
