The genes listed on the right of each heat map are the members of the immunoglobulin gene set. The RNA is from neutrophils or lymphocytes collected from patients with NLR that were high (NLR_High) or low (NLR_Low). There were 6 patients within each category. Six individual samples from NLR_High are compared with 6 individual samples from NLR_Low from both neutrophils and lymphocytes. Please notice the "blue" column in the upper half on the left for genes expressed in neutrophils with "high" NLR. Blue=reduced level of expression; red=high level of expression.
