Quercetin inhibits NLRP3 inflammasome priming, IL-1beta secretion, and TNF-α production in XIAP-deficient cells. Four strains of mouse BMDMs were preincubated with quercetin before stimulation with either CpG ODN or TNF-α. We then measured the levels of (A) IL-1β, (B) TNF-α, and (C) cell loss. Quercetin reduced the secreted levels of IL-1β and TNF-α.
