Categories of double-expresser lymphomas. These are typically cases that have a high-protein expression of MYC and BCL2. Most DPE cases that are associated with rearrangements of MYC and BCL2 are of GCB origin, whereas most cases that do not harbor these rearrangements are of ABC origin. The proportion of DLBCL cases that are double expressers has been calculated at between 21% and 44% across various studies.³¹
