PBMCs were isolated from 8 healthy HIV-uninfected subjects and were stained with a PE cyanin 5.1-conjugated antibody directed to the NK cell marker CD56, PE-conjugated anti-CD 158a and -CD 158b antibodies, and FITC-conjugated anti-CD94 antibodies.

Mean ± SD values represent those of the subpopulations of NK cells from all subjects tested.

Percentages of 104 CD56+ cells expressing CD94, CD 158a, and CD 158b molecules were determined.
