Bone marrow mononuclear cells from 3 healthy donors were incubated for 4 hours at 37°C with the indicated concentrations of GA, washed free of the drug, and plated for assay of colony formation. Colonies were counted at 14 days. Data are shown as percentages of colonies detected in untreated cultures ± SEM. P values were determined by the Student t test for paired samples.
