Replicate cultures were exposed to UVC irradiation. After 7 days cells were seeded in the presence of 6-TG to select the hprt mutants. Results are expressed as mutation frequency for 104 viable cells. Results represent mean ± SD from 3 independent experiments (P < .01, BaF3-p210 compared with BaF3 in the experimental groups).
