Control alloantigen-specific anergic and activated CD4+ T cells or tyrosinase-specific CD8+ T cells and the same number of cocultured T cells of these 2 cell populations were restimulated with mature dendritic cells. After 48 hours, the supernatants of the T-cell culture were harvested and assessed for IL-2, IFN-γ, IL-4, and IL-10 content by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
