SDF-1 levels in the medium of human LTCs given various prior treatments
Prior treatment . | Time of assessment (days after medium change) . | SDF-1 concentration (ng/mL) . |
---|---|---|
Half-medium change | 2-3 | 0.53 ± 0.06 |
Half-medium change + SDF-1 | 2-3 | 0.35 ± 0.06 |
Half-medium change | 7 | 1.30 ± 0.30 |
Half-medium change + SDF-1(G2) (2 to 3 days later) | 7 | 3.10 ± 1.30 |
Prior treatment . | Time of assessment (days after medium change) . | SDF-1 concentration (ng/mL) . |
---|---|---|
Half-medium change | 2-3 | 0.53 ± 0.06 |
Half-medium change + SDF-1 | 2-3 | 0.35 ± 0.06 |
Half-medium change | 7 | 1.30 ± 0.30 |
Half-medium change + SDF-1(G2) (2 to 3 days later) | 7 | 3.10 ± 1.30 |
Values shown are the mean ± SEM from 8 to 10 experiments. SDF-1 was added at 100 ng/mL, and SDF-1 (G2) at 10 μg/mL. The increase in SDF-1 levels over time (from 2 to 3 days to 7 days after a previous half-medium change) is significant (P < .05). The difference between cultures with and without SDF-1 addition is not significant (P > .05). The difference between cultures with and without SDF-1(G2) addition is not significant (P > .05).
