Fresh marrow cells from patients with known clonal cytogenetic abnormalities were cultured for 6 to 12 hours in the presence of TRAIL (300 ng/mL). After washing, FISH analysis with the appropriate probes was carried out on pre-exposure and postexposure samples, side by side.
