PIH, primary intracerebral hemorrhage; SAH, subarachnoid hemorrhage; APTT, activated partial thromboplastin time; ND, not determined. Hypertension was defined as blood pressure exceeding 140 mm Hg systolic or 90 mm Hg diastolic on repeated observations over 3 months or if no blood pressure values were available when the subject was under treatment with chronic antihypertensive therapy. Current/former smoker, subject smoked more than 10 cigarettes per day. Alcohol consumption, subject consumed more than 300 g alcohol per week.
