The location of the CpG island in the gene is indicated. The methylation status of the gene on the RLGS profile is indicated by “M” if methylated and “U” if unmethylated. Cells were cultured with (Aza C) and without (No tx) 5-aza-2′-deoxycytidine at 2.5 μM for 72 hours. The absence of a band in reverse transcription–polymerase chain reactions is indicated by a dash, and its presence by a plus. Shaded areas indicate that expression was restored with demethylation.
