We have previously shown that LHR-D⁺ has the phenotype McC(a+b−), Sl(a+).

Therefore, only anti-McC^a and Sl^a are inhibited and not the antithetical sera McC^b or Vil.

Two different anti-McC^a and 4 anti-Sl^a sera were used in the inhibition tests.
