F3-150

AA4.1+ indicates FLC column enriched for hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells before transplantation. GF+ indicates FLCs were cultured for 4 days in the presence of growth factors (IL-3, IL-6, and stem cell factor) before transplantation.

F3-151

Age at analysis.

F3-152

In the spleens, livers, and brains, multiple sections were assayed from each tissue to obtain a representative sampling of the whole tissue.

F3-153

In bone marrow, only a small sample from one bone was assayed for each animal, and the assays do not represent the whole bone marrow. Thus, it is likely, given low total numbers of donor cells, that positive areas were missed in the negative mice.
