Femurs were scanned using a Stratec XCT 960M densitometer. The mean ± SD of values assigned by the densitometry for bone structural parameters are shown (n = 3-5 animals per group). Densitometry values were compared between treatment groups using Student t test to determine significant differences, and the resulting P values are also shown.

MPS VII indicates mucopolysaccharidosis type VII; BMT, bone marrow transplantation; SD, significant difference (P < .05); ND, no significant difference; NA, not applicable, no significant difference between controls. Shading indicates fully normalized bone parameter.
