CB-derived MCs or PB-derived MCs were pretreated with 1 μg/mL IgE or IgE + 10 ng/mL IL-4 for 48 hours. After washing, cell surface (surface) or cell surface and intracytoplasmic (permeabilized) FcεRIα were stained. Each value represents an average ± SEM of the MFI ratio (specific value/spontaneous value). Experiment number (n) was 5 to 7, as indicated.
