FR indicates folate receptor. FR expression was detected by [3H] folic acid binding, immunoblotting with the use of antibody to FR-α or FR-β, and Northern blot by means of complementary DNA probes specific for FR-α or FR-β.
The cell lines are of human origin unless indicated otherwise.
