Rats were subjected to 60 minutes of renal ischemia followed by reperfusion. Kidney samples were obtained 24 hours after reperfusion. Data are expressed as mean ± SD values from 5 experiments. HPF indicates high-power field; I/R, ischemia/reperfusion; APC, activated protein C; DEGR-FXa, dansyl glutamylglycylarginyl chloromethyl ketone–treated factor Xa; and DIP-APC, diisopropyl fluorophosphate–treated APC.
