For spleen, the frequency was analyzed on light density cell fraction to reduce erythroblast interference with cytometric analysis. The total number of cells per spleen was as follows: 60-80 × 106 (normal spleen), 150-250 × 106 (day 1 PHZ-spleen), and 300-400 × 106 (day 3 PHZ-spleen). The results are expressed as mean (± SD) of 5 separate analyses.
