Dosages: group A (3 × 1011vp), group B (1 × 1011vp), group C (2.5 × 1011vp), and group D (vehicle). Six mice per group were injected through the tail vein with the indicated doses. Tissue sampling: three mice from each group were killed on PI days 3 and 14, and tissues were processed for histopathology evaluation. Severity grading: 1, minimal; 2, mild; 3, moderate; 4, marked. Grades were determined by the average number for all animals examined and a correction factor for lesion appearance (focal, multifocal, or locally extensive). N, no change.
