Total variances of repertoires of antibody reactivities of IgM in whole plasma with self-antigens in extracts of kidney, liver, stomach, RBCs, and in RBC membranes were calculated separately in a 40- to 60-dimension vector space, depending on the tissue extract. None of the differences between total variances were significant as assessed by the F test.
