Cytotoxic assay was performed as described in Materials and Methods at the indicated E/T ratios. YAC-1 cells were used as targets. Where indicated, the cytotoxicity assay was performed with NK cells pretreated with AS or Scr or in the presence of NOS inhibitors, L-NMMA (500 μmol/L) and AG (50 μmol/L). Each value represents the mean of triplicate determinations from one representative experiment. SD was less than 5%. Similar results were obtained from two other experiments.
