Purified human thymocytes were cultured overnight in 6-well costar plates in the presence or absence of increasing concentrations of eotaxin or 10 ng/mL of human recombinant IL-2 or IL-7. Supernatants were collected and analyzed for various cytokines and chemokines as described in Materials and Methods, and results of chemokine analyses are shown for three separate donors.
