Mpl-L level in sera from 28 normal controls, 44 ET patients, and 8 PMF patients. The threshold of the ELISA KIT (R & D system) was 25 pg/mL of Mpl-L. A serum Mpl-L level under this threshold was quoted “nonsignificant” (NS).
