Mice analyzed for chimerism in Table 1 were bled for determination of PB cell numbers and Hct determination. The absolute number of WBC, ANC, and ALC were analyzed on day 14 post-BMT from blood smears. Recipients of DBA/1 BM and a cohort of recipients of BALB/c BM grafts also were analyzed on day 28 post-BMT. Hematocrit values were obtained at that time. Values expressed are the mean values ± 1 SEM × 10−3/μL except for Hct values, which are percentages.
