The correlation between the presence of eosinophils and the absence of telomerase activity was highly significant (P < .00001).
Number of eosinophils counted in 10 randomly selected high power vision fields. The eosinophils were not counted in 1 HD sample.
The HD sample that exhibited detectable telomerase activity in the category >200 eosinophils was the 1 lymphocyte depletion (LD) case of the whole study.
