An aliquot of neutrophils used in the adhesion assays under shear stress was reserved, and L-selectin and Mac-1 levels were quantified as described in the Materials and Methods. Values were normalized by subtracting the MFI for the nonspecific IgG control for each day and then averaged. Data represent the mean ± SEM of the MFI.
