Cumulative total progenitor number = total number of colonies in week × multiplied by the cumulative cell expansion per week in Delta divided by total CFU-GM per 4 × 104 input CD34+ cells.
Expansion of progenitors = BFU-E, CFU-GEMM, and CFU-GM determined in agarose culture stimulated with KL, IL-3, IL-6, G-CSF + Epo (K36EG).
