At day 0, 1 × 10⁸ MNCs were plated per condition in the bulk culture. For the patient represented here (ALL-17), T cells represented 1.5% of the bone marrow MNCs and the initial number of CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cells per condition was, respectively, 0.8 × 10⁶ and 0.7 × 10⁶ cells.
