Cells were grown in 2-cm² tissue culture wells until 48 hours postconfluent. TM-dependent protein C activation was determined using S2238 amidolytic substrate as detailed in the Materials and Methods. Results reflect the means of three individual experiments performed in duplicate with associated standard errors (SE).
