Cutoff values for patient dichotomization were median values for lymphocytosis and β2-microbulin, that is, 13 G/L and 2.5 mg/L, respectively. For sTK, the cutoff value was set at 10 to be in concordance with the value chosen to stratify patients in clinical trials, in particular in the French-German CLL7 trial for stage A CLL (NCT00275054).
