PHA-stimulated PBMCs and MDMs were cultured in the absence or presence of 1 μg/mL VLP for 36 and 24 hours, respectively. Conditioned media from untreated cells (Control-Sup) and VLP-treated cells (VLP-Sup) were obtained as described in “Generation of conditioned medium.” Concentrations of each cytokine (ng/mL) were quantitated by ELISA. Data show means ± SEs from at least 3 different conditioned media.
