CD34+ CD44-6v+ and CD34+CD44-6vneg were sorted as detailed in Materials and Methods, and seeded at 2.103 cells/mL complete methyl cellulose medium supplemented with stimulating factors as described; CFU-M, CFU-GM, BFU-E, and CFU-GEMM were scored at day 16 (methyl cellulose assay). Results were expressed as the percentage of each type of colonies. All cultures were made in triplicate. Data are the means ± SE of three independent experiments.
