Values shown are the results obtained from individual mice calculated in each case, assuming two femurs and two tibias contain 25% of the total marrow population. Each of the three experiments was initiated with lin CB cells and the output values shown have been adjusted to correspond to the yield of progeny expected from 105 input CD34+ CB cells originally placed in culture.
