For ceramide, each value is: pmol in 38.13 treated cells ÷ pmol in control cells. For sphingomyelin and Gb3/CD77, each spot of the HPTLC obtained from cells treated or not with 38.13 MoAb was scraped off the plates and quantitated by liquid scintillation counting. Each value is: cpm in 38.13 treated cells ÷ cpm in control cells. Results given are the means ± SD of five independent experiments.
