Measurement of total histamine content and activity assay for tryptase and chymase was performed as described in the Materials and Methods using mast cells cultured with or without IL-4 (10 ng/mL) in the presence of SCF (100 ng/mL) and IL-6 (80 ng/mL) for 21 days. Each value represents the mean ± SD of triplicate assays.
