Gene transfer efficiency estimated by PCR analysis of 12 pools of 15 colonies per pool for animals J94090, M94264, and F93449. For F93449, all 12 pools were PCR+. For M94142, pools with two and five colonies per pool were analyzed. Weighted mean and SEM were calculated. All colonies were grown from harvested nonadherent cells.
