A total of 104 BM CD34+ cells isolated from G0/G1 subcompartments (Fig 4) were plated in complete medium supplemented with IL-3-IL-6-SCF. After 14 days, the persistence of CD34 expression was determined by FACS analysis of cultured cells. Data are the mean ± SEM, n = 3. Statistical analysis was by ANOVA followed by SNK pairwise comparisons.
