Induction of E- and P-Selectin mRNA in LPS- or TNF-α Treated Mice

In total 4 SJL/J mice and 1 Balb/c mouse were investigated. Animals were sacrificed, tissue was removed and snap frozen after the following 4 treatments: IV TNF-α (50 μg, 3 hours), IV TNF-α (50 μg, 4 hours), IV LPS (50 μg, 3 hours), and IV LPS (50 μg, 4 hours). The Balb/c mouse was investigatd after 4 hours LPS. We did not observe significant differences in the inducibility of E- and P-selectin comparing the different mouse strains, treatments, and timepoints investigated.
