From the measured radioactivity, 71 pmol of radioactive pepide was applied to the sequencer.
The amino acid sequence of the isolated peptide determined by N-terminal sequencing is compared with the cDNA deduced protein sequence from Livi et al.27 A second peptide, Ile-Ser-Gly-Try-Gly-Asn, was also present and was identified as derived from bovine pancreatic trypsin.30 31
No PTH derivative was detected at ≥5 pmol.
