Recognition by Autologous GVHD Effector T Lymphoctes Is Blocked by Pretreating the Target Cells With Anti-CLIP Antibody

Pretransplant lymphobasts and T47D cells were labeled with 51Cr and pretreated with (1.5 μg) rabbit antibody to CLIP (Fab) or prebleed IgG for 1 hour at 4°C before use as targets in a 51Cr release assay. Effector T cells were derived from patients with biopsy-confirmed autologous GVHD. The effector to target ration was 100:1.
