Less than 15 GPL or 25 MPL is considered negative in our laboratory. GPL or MPL units greater than 40 fulfill APS criteria.10 P values are given comparing the LAC-positive group vs the LAC-negative subgroup. The LAC subgroup was representative of the entire group of LAC-negative patients, as there were no statistical differences between median aCL levels or prevalence of aCL-positive patients. In contrast, all aCL variables were significantly different between the LAC-negative subgroup and the LAC-positive group.
Fulfills classification criteria for APS; **Mann-Whitney rank-sum test.
