The inhibitory activity of mAbs added at different concentrations was analyzed in the HIV-1–transfer assay. The concentration of Ab resulting in IC70 was calculated in parallel for HIV-1 transfer to CD4 T lymphocytes and for HIV-1 replication in MoDCs. IC70 values are expressed as means ± SD. Statistical analysis of pairwise comparisons was based on t tests (Mann-Whitney test), with P < .05 considered significant. MoDC maturation is presented as the fold increase (F.I.), calculated as the percentage of CD83+ DC-SIGN+ MoDCs in the presence of Abs divided by the percentage of CD83+ DC-SIGN+ control MoDCs in the absence of Abs.
