Purified congenically marked CD4+ RTEs and MN T cells were cocultured at various ratios with antigen-presenting cells under Th0, Th1, and Th2 conditions for 3 (D +3) or 5 days (D +5). Data are presented as the mean ratio of IFN-γ or IL-4 production by RTEs to that by MN T cells (eg, % IFN-γ+ RTEs divided by % IFN-γ+ MN T cells). Data are compiled from 3 independent experiments with cells pooled from 2-3 mice per experiment.
