The cDC subsets were isolated by the standard procedure of Figure 1, without depletion of cells bearing NK cell markers. NK cells were sorted from a whole-spleen suspension as CD49b+ cells. IFN-γ production was from the supernatant of 105 cells cultured in 0.2 mL medium for 50 hours, as detailed in “Materials and methods.” Results from a single experiment with 5 replicate cultures plus or minus SD, typical of multiple experiments.
