Mice were analyzed 10 weeks after bone marrow transplantation with sorted Lin-cKit+Sca1+ cells from wild-type C57BI/6Ly5.1 mice. Donor macrophages, which express CD45.1, can be distinguished from recipient macrophages, which express CD45.2. The degree of chimerism expressed in percentage is calculated as follows: CD45.1+CD11b+/CD11b+ (CD45.1+ plus CD45.2+).
